Hockey Regina is excited to release an expression of interest for the contracted position of Referee-in-Chief (RIC) for the 2025-2026 season.  The position will span mid-August through the end of the season and will be vital in the development and support of Officials in Hockey Regina. The RIC, an experienced official themselves, will be passionate about the recruitment, education, development, evaluation and support of officials.  They will have excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills and ensure officials are well trained, supported and equipped to perform their integral duties. 

This important role will Chair the Hockey Regina Officials Committee, sit on the Hockey Saskatchewan Grassroots Task team, advise and support Hockey Regina Disciplinary processes, work collaboratively with the Director of Hockey Operations whose role is responsible for the game assignment of officials and report to the Technical Director whose portfolio encompasses all streams of development (player, coach and officials).
