Member Fee Rebate Program

The Hockey Regina Member Fee Rebate Program was developed to support members in offsetting the costs of registration fees by volunteering their time to support the operations of the organization.  While the opportunity to work Bingos has existed for many years, there are also other parts of the organization that require additional capacity where it was felt opportunities could be provided first to membership.  2025-2026 is the first year of this model and we expect the program to grow and evolve into the future.   

For the 2026-2027 season, members will have the opportunity to work Bingos, support Hockey Regina tournaments, support Hockey Regina evaluations, and potentially participate in various ad-hoc opportunities.  Members will be compensated for this work with fee credits applied to their player(s) accounts. Bingo's worked will also now be compensated with fee credits (versus paper vouchers).  Fee credits that have been earned can be utilized for HRI registration fees or team fees.  Note that earned member credits have no cash value.

Evaluations support

Evaluations is a large feat for any minor sports organization and Hockey Regina is no different.  This year’s evaluation model is again features HRI partnership with various vendors to provide on ice instruction and off ice player evaluation, a technology partner- SkillShark to support metric input, calculation and reporting, and partners and members (like you!) to provide peripheral supports.  Those peripheral support include timekeeping, bench volunteers and registration table volunteers (Registrars).

REGISTRATION
To sign up to be included in the applicant pool for Evaluation related positions, complete this form (Form Closed).  Registration and signups are ongoing.  Sign Up Genius is utilized for accepted applicants to sign up for available sessions.  Sign ups are ongoing and there may or may not be sessions available at any given time.

HRI Tournaments

HRI Tournaments Member Fee Rebate opportuinties were  implemented in the 2025-2026 tournament season.
Roles Explained

Sign Ups are provided to the specific tournament participating teams ahead of each tournament and then opened to full membership closer to the event.
Note: Beyond the Tournament Headquarters (HQ) and Rink Marshall roles, the game Music role has also been opened to the Member Fee Rebate program while continuing to provide the opportuinty to U15 and U18 age players as well.  Only U15 and U18 players are eligible for cash payment from this role.  

All tournament roles may be designated to your team (for payment as a fundraiser) or to your player for member rebate credit, this is designated in the sign up prcoess.

Member Credit Redemption process

Earned credits are available for use and can be viewed on the applicable player's TeamLinkt account within approximately 3 business days of earning the credits.

Utilization of credits for Team Fees (In season use) aligns with the existing Bingo program in-season turn ins in December, January and February.  Any credits not used in-season will be available for player registration come June for the following season, also in alignment with the Bingo program.
