goalie grant program
Hockey Regina is again offering the Goalie Development Matching Grant Program, for the 2026-27 season! Hockey Regina is providing up to $250.00 for every U13 – U15 team to support funding specifically for goalie instruction and development.
How it Works:
- If a team spends $500.00 or more on goalie development or instruction Hockey Regina will provide a grant in cheque form to the team up to a maximum of $250.00.
- If a team spends less than $500.00 the provided grant will simply be half the amount spent by the team.
Grant Requirements:
- Hockey Regina is diligent in ensuring quality instructors are being utilized for the grant program and therefore ALL INSTRUCTORS MUST BE A HOCKEY REGINA APPROVED INSTRUCTOR.
- Hockey Regina will be working directly with the goaltending instructors and vendors in monitoring the grant program and funding utilized.
- For the grant, teams pay vendors directly, vendors report eligible sessions to Hockey Regina, Hockey Regina reimburses teams twice per season:
- Grant cheques will be padi to teams twice per season, once in early January for services provided and paid for prior to December 15th and once at season end for services provided and paid for from December 16th to March 15th.
- Approved goaltending vendors are listed below. Instructors are NOT limited to this list of vendors. If you have a goaltender instructor you would like to work with, please have them email Amanda Hungle at ahungle@hockeyregina.ca
